Litigator's Guide to the Second Circuit
The clerk=92s office of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit
has issued a guide to the court=92s structure and operations, including
the format and filing procedures for briefs, the typical time it takes
the court to decide cases, and who to contact in the clerk=92s office for
answers to frequently asked questions. The guide has been posted on the
New York Law Journal=92s web site at:

Those who practice in New York will also be interested to know that the
state=92s Office of Court Administration wants to allow lawyers to file
suits by fax and e-mail. OCA has proposed several test projects around
the state, which require Legislative approval. Monday=92s Law Journal
