Try the Electronic Frontier Foundation. Also just compare some commercial
websites for vast differences, e.g., NYTimes.com, LLBean.com, AOL, etc.

Daria - try the privacy policy wizard at http://www.truste.org. I believe
the BBB also has a good privacy policy.
For a REALLY THOROUGH canvassing of issues on privacy policy see the
California Healthcare Foundations recent survey of privacy policies in use
by websites which may have health-related data thereon.
There are user expectation surveys, reports and exec summaries all
downloadable in PDF format.
