I count twenty messages in the last twelve hours contributing to what may
be the most idiotic argument I have *ever* seen on this list, which is
saying something. And all this while there is an actual issue with real
consequences that's all too current. So I can't excuse this behavior on the
grounds of boredom and nothing-better-to-talk-about than who might have
subtly meant what in which passing remark that implicates years-old but
still corrosive history, as well as who can misquote Shakespeare to worse
purpose and who was last in court when.

Christ. Go to bed already, the three of you. Get some sleep. Have
nightmares about what Dante did with the Sowers of Discord!
